First and Third Wednesdays

Our food pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month to all residents of South Elgin and Valley View who may be in need.

Hours
9:30 a.m. -noon
4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

We have been operating since 1994, with the goal of providing a crucial blessing for those in need.

Donors: Items that we need

Paper products: Paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue

Baking: Sugar (granulated, powdered & brown), flour, cooking oil,  baking soda, baking powder, baking chips, condensed and evaporated milk, vanilla, cake and brownie mixes, frosting.

Personal care: Deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and toothpaste

Condiments: Ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, pickles, relish, salsa

Drop off times
Monday: 9 a.m.-noon or 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Tuesday:  9-10 a.m.  or 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m.-noon
Thursday:  9-10 a.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.-noon or 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Sunday: 8-11:30 a.m.

Drop off items at South Elgin Community United Methodist Church, 400 West Spring St.,  in the bin near the doors.
