First and Third Wednesdays
Our food pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month to all residents of South Elgin and Valley View who may be in need.
Hours
9:30 a.m. -noon
4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
We have been operating since 1994, with the goal of providing a crucial blessing for those in need.
If you'd like to do a food drive please call or email the pantry first to see what items are most needed. Please also call to schedule a good day to drop the items off.

Donors: Items that we need
Paper products: Paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue
Baking: Sugar (granulated, powdered & brown), flour, cooking oil, baking soda, baking powder, baking chips, condensed and evaporated milk, vanilla, cake, brownie mixes, and frosting.
Personal care: Deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, and toothpaste
Condiments: Ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, pickles, relish, salsa
Drop off times
Monday: 9 a.m.-noon or 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m.-noon
Saturday: 9 a.m.-noon
Sunday: 8-11:30 a.m.
Drop off items at South Elgin Community United Methodist Church, 400 West Spring St., in the bin near the doors.
